Creative Space is a proposal for a 10m high underwater sculpture that considers the origins of creativity and ideas. Staring out into the infinite depths the table and chair are alone and isolated yet at peace with their surroundings.
This artwork was originally proposed for Lamlash bay in Scotland and designed to act as a physical barrier to trawlers in the area, preventing them from damaging the delicate sea bed.
Made of reinforced cast concrete, the sculpture overtime becomes a coral reef, inhabited by sea life and will also be valued as an artwork by the by the local diving community.
