Auction Ended!
A UK based company approached the artist with a time limited offer for Aeolus. The Aeolus selection committee took the difficult decision to accept this offer and so consequently, the auction process has now been stopped. Those organisations who had expressed interest in the artwork have been contacted.
Going to a good home in the UK, the artwork will be publically accessible and there's an extensive programme of educational activities planned around the sculpture. Money made from the sale is being fed back into new public artworks Luke Jerram is developing.
Information about which organisation acquired the artwork and when it will be installed on permanent display will be released soon.
